Our Story
Founder & President
Edmund T. Calvin
he founder began with Beneficial Investigation Service, Inc. in Connecticut in 1987. By 1990 he was Vice President, and by 2003 owner & President. Besides being a licensed Private Investigator in Connecticut & Texas, he was also a licensed Casualty Adjuster in Connecticut during that time.
The company expanded into Texas in 2013 forming ATEX Investigations, which has a variety of claims and security experts on staff, including a former Chief of Police, and military professionals.
Detective Consultant grew to perform a variety of searches nationwide and strides to excel at providing these needed searches at an affordable cost. That service continues under the unified company name of ATEX Investigations.
Whether a seemingly small search or a complex investigation lasting years, the owner’s philosophy is to always provide value to the customer.
